Dry ice, the solid form of carbon dioxide, is used to clean a surface through a compressed and pressurized air stream in the form of pellets. This alternative method of cleaning is superior because power washing and managing high amounts of water may not always be feasible in production or industrial environments. Dry ice blasting is environmentally-friendly since the dry ice evaporates rather than dirty water being dumped down the drain. This method also reduces downtime, as production continues due to the elimination of water and the mess that comes with it.
